Walls within the landscape can provide dimension and character. Most walls are used for retaining purposes and if not done properly can cause major issues to the landscape and the home. For homes that have a fairly flat property you can still add dimension by installing a sitting wall or bench like element to the landscape. Doing this can create a welcoming feel to the outdoor area of your home.

The materials that can be used to create walls can become fairly pricey. In most cases the least costly are boulders and are most commonly used in retaining.
